The aim of this document is to provide guidance on how we engage with our associates to build lasting and successful relationships for the benefit of clients, associates and Huntswood. Whilst all our associates remain independent, we expect the highest level of service delivery, in line with the Huntswood culture and values, and that they should be treated fairly and with respect at all times.

When considering and applying this guidance it is important to bear in mind how associates are contracted to work:

  1. Where the associate is working through a personal service company (PSC) (also known as a limited company), the contract for the services is made between Huntswood and the PSC and not with the individual supplied by the PSC to carry out the services. Where you are discussing the performance of the services under the contract with the individual (or any other issues covered by this guidance note), such individual is acting on behalf of the PSC in his/her capacity as company director of the PSC.
  2. Where the associate is providing their services through an umbrella company, such as Husp, the contract for services is between Huntswood and the umbrella company. As referred to within the guidance, where you are discussing the performance of the services under the contract with the individual carrying out the services (or any other issues covered by this guidance note), such individual is an employee of the umbrella company.
